Sudan has world
class diving but unfortunately it isn't able to offer some other
facilities in the same league.
The closest
re-compression chamber is in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
We believe that
safety is a top priority and therefore we have invested in a
one-man hyperbaric chamber on our ship. We are the only ship
working out of Port Sudan to have this facility.
This is not
a ticket to dive carelessly. The hyperbaric chamber has never
actually been used, although it is obviously tested regularly,
and we would like to keep it this way!
