To
the South of Port Sudan are the reefs and islets of Suakin that
takes the name from the city constructed in blocks made from
corals.
Suakin
used to be the main port for Sudan until it was abandoned and
it is now a ruined village which is well worth a look around
if you have any spare time in Port Sudan.
Continuing
down South, is the small reef of Jibna, marked by a beacon.
Jibna offers two dives - one on the East reef and one on the
West reef. Both have sheer vertical walls.
