The pinnacle lies below the surface of the sea from about 5m
down and it looks just like an aquarium. Because the pinnacle
can be seen at only 5m, this makes it a good dive site for snorkellers.
The
pinnacle is cone shaped and it expands the deeper you dive.
This
is an excellent dive site and the visibility is outstandingly
clear. When diving you are able to see manta rays, large schools
of hammerhead sharks, oceanic white-tip sharks and lots more!
At
36m there is a cavern which you can swim into. You get an incredible
sight from this cavern because as you turn around to look back
at where you came from, the sunlight filters in and it is almost
like a photograph where the marine life is framed against the
cavern wall. It takes a super picture!
The
currents at this site can be fairly strong.
